If you are writing an article, a short story, a memoir or a novel for publication, either through self-publishing or to submit a manuscript to a publishing company, I can help you. I will do so with politeness and encouragement; but I will be honest about what I cannot fix. (For example, if there is no story in the story you have written, I will tell you that—with suggestions, though.)

I will examine your manuscript to the degree you wish and provide you with suggestions for improvement. Accepting or rejecting those suggestions is your call. Depending the level of assistance that you would like, I will work with you in a timely way via email.

All edits are done in confidence and with regard for the work. You might have to put up with my dry humour, but never with sarcasm or disrespect.

I am most effective assisting fiction writers, but I would be glad to help with biographies and memoirs, too. Any kind of fiction from speculative to mainstream is welcome, but the illogic inherent in romances is beyond my abilities.

Technical writing would be fine, too. I have done enough of it to be able to assist you.
